I lost 5lbs!!! | First week completed on the Cambridge Weight Plan

So, as you can see from the title the first week on the Cambridge Weight Plan went well. I am super pleased with my loss this week, I have never lost that amount of weight in the first week of a diet, and it hasn't been as hard as I thought it was going to be.

I have been having 4 Cambridge products per day along with copious amounts of water (with their flavoring) and I must admit, the first 2-3 days I felt a little bit hungry. It was to be expected as I was cutting down my food intake by a significant amount, however actually eating the products wasn't difficult as they are very tasty, I just wanted to eat more of them!

I tried a range of the products, but there were a few that stuck out for me. The sachet meals are delicious. My favorites are the spaghetti bolognese, chicken tikka style curry, and spicey couscous. I also enjoyed the vanilla rice pudding and chocolate chewy bar. This is now what I have ordered for my second week, as its better to pick what you like eating.

I would say day 3 and 4 were the hardest for me. Day 3 happened to be Fathers Day, and my Mum cooked everyone a roast dinner. My Mum is doing Cambridge with me, so that helped but out measly portions looked ridiculous next to everyone else plates that were piled high. 

I did also feel a little under the weather on day 4, with a headache a little bit of nausea. Nevertheless, that eased off over the next few days and I'm now actually feeling really good. The products are satisfying me, there are times when I feel hungry but only when I am coming up to having a product and as soon as I have had it I'm fine. 

It has helped I have been busy at work this week, so not only has the week has gone quickly I haven't really thought much about food. Which in essence, is one of the amazing things about this diet. It is all done for you and packaged up in little parcels, so I can grab and go in the mornings and I eat to refuel throughout the day. 

Overall I have enjoyed the first week, to an extent. It's not been easy all of the time, but the results have been worth it and I can't wait to reach my goal now.
